Bears Rebecca Fonte
WRITER/DIRECTOR
Bears Rebecca is a transgender filmmaker, festival programmer, and journalist. She founded Other Worlds Film Festival after two years as the Director of Programming for Austin Film Festival. Her SciFi shorts Roadside Assistance, Prenatal, and The Secret Keeper have played 150+ festivals including Fantasia, SciFi London, Boston SciFi, FilmQuest, Austin Film Festival and the Dances With Films. Her LGBTQ Horror short Conversion Therapist made its world premiere at Inside Out in Toronto and US Premiere at aGLIFF. Her feature thriller Crime, which she wrote and directed, was released on DVD, VOD and streaming by Breaking Glass/Vicious Circle Films in 2011. Bears Rebecca also was one of the producers on the Sundance Jury-Award Winning short The Procedure. She covers genre and LGBTQ films for Hammer to Nail. In 2021, she was named Artistic Director of aGLIFF, Austin's Queer festival and the oldest film fest in Austin. She is on the Board of Directors of the Film Festival Alliance.

Ellie Ann Fenton

Ellie Ann Fenton is an award-winning cinematographer, splitting her time between the vibrant cities of Los Angeles, CA, and Austin, TX. With a passion for storytelling, Ellie specializes in capturing the essence of narratives and documentaries on both the big and small screens. Her impressive portfolio spans across various genres and scales of projects, where she consistently contributes her creative vision to a diverse range of captivating stories. She has served as the cinematographer on various independent features, including the chilling horror film "Mercy Black," currently streaming on Netflix. Her adeptness at creating atmospheric visuals and capturing the essence of the story in an independent context has garnered praise from both audiences and industry professionals. She has also lent her expertise as a camera operator on critically acclaimed shows such as HBO's "True Detective" Season 3 and Denzel Washington's film, "A Journal for Jordan." Ellie's commitment to her craft is matched by her exceptional education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UT Austin and a Master of Fine Arts from the prestigious American Film Institute. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Ellie consistently delivers visually stunning and evocative cinematography that captivates audiences. Ellie is deeply passionate about collaborating on creative and thought-provoking projects that push boundaries, challenge social norms, and explore the depths of imagination.

Brit Snyman
PRODUCER
Brittany Snyman is a Director, Producer and self taught SFX artist from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Her love of horror was sparked at a young age while watching iconic horror movies with her grandfather. While attending graduate school, Brittany turned her house into a full-blown walk-through haunted house two ears in a row. This experience allowed her to develop her SFX skills, learn about set design, and introduced her to Directing. After graduating with her Master's in Physics, Brittany moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began to Produce, Direct, and do SFX on short horror films. Brittany founded her production company, End Eternal Productions, in January 2019 and has since produced 8 short horror films.

Carrie Cates
Carrie Cates is an independent film producer and production designer. Over the years, she has racked up a handful of feature film credits and created quite a few award winning shorts. She has worked on everything from commercials for clients including Indian Motorcycles, IBM, RAM Trucks, Academy Sports... to music videos including Paul Cauthen "Country AF', Devendra Banhart "Twin", Hayden Pedigo 'Elsewhere", but her heart really is tangled up in the horror genre. She has produced a number of horror flicks with her husband, Kyle Cates (director + score composer @KACMusic), and together they produced two seasons of a horror podcast entitled The Scary Movie List show (@scarymovielistshow) where they talk about all kinds of scary flicks. She was a long-time film educator, and in 2012, she founded a youth film festival for junior high and high school students in Central Texas, the Austin Youth Film Festival that ran for 10 years. A woman of many projects, she is currently head of programming for Lake Travis Film Festival and a Producer for Revelator Productions.

Chloe Carroll
Chloe Carroll is an LGBTQ+, UK. trained actress and producer residing in Los Angeles, California. She has been featured in multiple award-winning films, both in the United States and abroad. Chloe was chosen as a 2017 Shudder Labs fellow when her pitch for The Honeymoon Phase feature film was selected as a top five finalist in Project Greenlight and Shudder TV's Real Fear Horror Contest. Following the script's development at Shudder Labs, Chloe starred as Eve in the Honeymoon Phase - released by Dark Sky Films in 2020.
